Mr. Simon Shigali BOG Chairman |
In order to forge ahead, the Board of Governors made a decision to establish the first ever Strategic Plan that will drive this great school to the required levels. The workshop participants agreed on a vision of being the centre of excellence producing educable individuals useful to the society. This vision will remain the driving force during the period of the plan, and it is intentionally tailored to align both changes and priorities in the current dynamic operating environment that consider economic, social and political factors. The proposed measures and activities are expected to propel commendable development in this unexploited academic power house in Kenya.
During the Strategic Plan implementation, it will be of great value if all the stake holders will play their roles in facilitating achievement of the targets in the plan. In this case the stakeholders will include, but not limited to, the sponsor, the students, the parents, the local leadership starting with the Member of Parliament, the Education Offices and the old boys of the school. It is our belief that the above mentioned stake holders will have something to rejoice about if the set targets are achieved.
On the part of the BOG, we have made a commitment of working towards building strategic alliances and creating an that is conducive to facilitate the success of this Plan. To this end, the team of board of governors [ listed below] has been very supportive and instrumental towards the repositioning of Musingu Friends High school as a premier institution of learning in Kenya. I hasten to thank every one of them and appreciate their management principle of: Together, everyone achieves”.
Mr. Simon Shigali,
B.O.G Chairman
